I don't think it's an issue for us, we can do whatever the regs want. I guess it gives the big boys more time to wash their hair or change into a nice warm dry girl's blouse

114 Days left until event kick off!!
Any news on the builds? Will it will be done in the usually HOFS style, working 24/7 and building it in the last 8 weeks before the event
What you have done so far is looking good, cant wait to see some new ladoga action. How big is the team this year?
Good Luck with the builds, i look forward to seeing the end result!

Well the big news this year is that there is no big news
Basically, along with the rest of the world in general, stuff has gone batshit crazy for a lot of the team so it looks like we'll be sitting it out this year as far as Ladoga is concerned.
It was decided that, although we could go for the all-out attack to get there, it would ultimately end up with a compromise in the build, in the available support, and hence in how hard we could attack the race itself. Going ahead anyway with a compromise would just be a big drain on everyone's time & money that could be spent on a far stronger effort for the future instead.
That doesn't mean we're going to be sitting round doing nothing though
- hopefully updates will flow again in the near future, and having a bit of breathing space means we could get up to anything

Say whààààt ?
Although I must say I had a bad hunch about it, hearing and seeing so little about the build, it still strikes me as a surprise ...
But, one man's death is another man's bread - or in this case team: we've got some spare seats, who wants to tag along with the Collective ?
All kidding aside, I'm quite bummed to know we won't have you guys around our fire table sipping Jenever ...
And to top it off, one serious question: have you ever
not
went all-out in order to get there? We're well on our way doing just that again this year, and yes - it's creeping me out. I thought the second year would be more relaxed
And then one thing I forgot to add: decision must 've been tough to take for you guys, not going on tour this year ... cudos on taking it anyway rather than doing it half-assed. In some way, that takes more guts.

cant say fairer than that, sometimes stuff just has to give, not in a bad way but time to reconvene and view things from a different angle and suss whats matters is the way forward
take it easy

That sounds like the most sensible thing to ever come out of the HOFS shed! I am not going either for similar reasons; other things get in the way and it is a big commitment. Still, russia will still be there the year after.
Keep us updated on the builds though.
